Our kindergarten school participates annually in raising funds for charity organizations. A small plastic piggy bank is given to each students where they could save their extra money.
Not only the students but the teachers as well, participated in this life-changing charity work. This year the money will be given to Anak, a charity organization that aims to educate children in the remote villages in Bali Indonesia.
I think this is a great and noble way to educate the children at an early age about the importance of sharing their blessings and helping the less fortunate.
So here goes my first coin in the piggy bank! CLINK!
